Other Interesting Facts...
Other interesting facts:
Solar in the way that we think of it today was not always this way. Solar has many different uses for electrical components, and such things, but it is also an energy source discovered, so long ago that your family probably does not even go that far back. Solar energy is basically the oldest energy ever, because when the sun was born, solar was born. This was so far back that even life did not yet exist on earth. Only later did other sources such as hydro (water), and wind (moving air) appear. Even though coal, and uranium may have been on earth a long time, that was not energy yet, you needed to convert it to energy first.
- Solar was already used long ago by ancient cultures in B.C.. People use it, so they could have light in their houses during the day, and also for the sun dial.
- Solar could naturally help people obtain salt by evaporating small salt water ponds leaving the salt behind.
- Without solar energy our planet would be pretty dry. The sunlight (solar) makes water evaporate and condense into clouds. Soon enough there is enough water in the clouds for it to rain. Without solar, no rain.
- Solar energy in modern uses (today) can be used for all sorts of things powered by electricity.
